Acupuncture

The first evidence of acupuncture dates back 5000 years. More than 350 acupuncture points are located on so called meridians, along which, according to the Chinese beliefs, the Qi (life force) flows.
Disease can be due to a blockage of the flow of Qi along the meridians. Acupuncture aims to reinstate the flow of Qi by using specific points along the various meridians.
Depending on the symptoms of the disease Cupping or Moxibustion at specific acupuncture points can be included during treatment.
